Rules and Regulations for the 'Knight' tag:

There will be a 2 week period for all members to qualify for the new 'Knight' tag, if they so wish. To qualify the member will need 80 percent attendance for the two (2) weeks. At the end of the two weeks members with the 80 percent attendance will have the option of requesting the new 'Knight' tag. Members with the 'Knight' tag will have a 'guaranteed' raid spot as long as they maintain their tag. The current 'Raider' tag will still exist for members who do not wish or can not maintain the attendance for the new 'Knight' tag.

1. To maintain the 'Knight' tag the member must keep 80 percent raid attendance. The attendance will be evaluated every 2 weeks. If you do not meet the 80 percent (8 raids for normal weeks) attendance you will receive a warning. The warning will exist until you meet the 80 percent attendance for 2 evaluations in a row (4 weeks total). If you fail to meet the 80 percent attendance while under warning you will lose the 'Knight' tag and go back to a 'Raider' tag.

2. If you lose the tag then it will be gone for a period of one month before you are eligible to request it back. To qualify to be recieve the 'Knight' tag again you will need to have maintained the 80 percent attendance for 4 weeks.

3. Passes will work as they do now with one exception. If you requested a pass for the week, then you can not raid more than 2 times that week. And even then people with the 'Raider' tag will take precedence over you. Passes are not intended as a way to cheat the 80 percent attendance. Passes will be given for a week's absence and for no more than 4 weeks. Nothing more. Longer than that, then the 'Knight' tag will be removed and you must meet requirements to get it back.

4. The word 'guaranteed' was quoted above for a reason. Members with the 'Knight' tag will get invites before members with the 'Raider' tag, but it is not a 100% guaranteed invite. If there are more people with the 'Knight' tag available for a given role than there are spots for that role in the raid (tanks, healers, melee dps, ranged dps) then someone is going to have to sit. This will be done first on a volunteer basis, then based on who has had the most standby's in the past 2 weeks.

5. Standby credit for overall attendance and for DKP awards will work the same as it does now.

6. However, if you show up late even if you get into the raid you will not get credit for attendance for that raid toward getting or keeping your 'Knight' tag. This is intended as a reward for people who are consistently online and ready when the raids are being formed.

7. Initates will need to spend 2 weeks as a 'Raider' before they will be eligible for consideration as a 'Knight'.

8. Main spec will always have preference. Meaning that someone with the 'Knight' tag will not be taken as their offspec over a 'Raider' using their main spec.

** Please note: The Knight tag does not ensure anyone a spot in any member organized raids on Wed. or Sat. nights.

The charts for attendance are kept on the website and will be modified to accent the new tag raiders. A 2 week attendance will be kept on the easy accessible 'one click' webpage so everyone can check on their status if they so wish.

** Added Regulations, from a Post by Bronann.. dated June 8, 2008

1. The first thing is the actual pecking order in plain print for everyone regarding the order loot is open for to be rolled on...it is as follows:

Mains / Main set
Initiate/ Main set
Main / Off set
Alt / Main set
Initiate/ Off set
Alt / Off set

Please keep in mind this list is made with the idea of progressing as a guild. Initiates are given priority over alts in the hopes that soon they will be running as Raiders along side your main and hopefully you want them geared as much as I do.

2. If you leave the guild the guild log shows it. If you leave for any reason, for any amount of time, your RP (raid points) are reset at zero. We are not going to try to keep track of who had what or any such thing. It has always been our policy that if you leave you get one "free pass" to come back but please be aware that your decision to leave costs you your RP.

3. As I just stated everyone gets that "free pass" to come back but please be aware that when you come back you will be coming back as an Initiate for 2 weeks just like all new members and be subject to the same loot policies and restrictions.

4. Lastly. This server seems big but in reality it is a small world out there. Everything that you do is known to someone and it eventually gets back to the officers or myself. If you chose to app with another guild while wearing the KoF tag I suppose that is your right. I am not going to remove you from the guild BUT we are not going to continue to gear someone that may be leaving and taking their gear with them. You may still raid but surely you can't expect to be taken over people that are wanting to help the guild progress when you are clearly saying that you are not even sure you wish to be here anymore. Furthermore, you will NOT be eligible for ANY drops what-so-ever. I would rather shard the items and have the shards for guild use rather then give to someone who may take the stuff and use it to help another guild. You have your right to look elsewhere and I have the right to protect the guild and help keep us as strong as possible. Surely you can't expect us to do anything else.

** Added Regulations, from a Post by Bronann.. Raids will resume on the 13th dated April 7, 2009

When we do start back the new loot changes will be in place. I will go over all the details in a later post but for now I will simply say that 10 rp will be the minimum bid.

Also when we come back we will be focusing every chance we get on 3d. I want to see 3d completed before we have bigger fish to fry. I have never liked the feeling that I "can't" do something and it kind of rolls over into this game. I want us to do this.

Along those same lines, in order to accomplish this we apparently have to step up our game from what we have been bringing so far. We need to get back to some of the things that we seem to have forgotten. Maybe we have been in "coast mode" for too long but our raiding skills have suffered a serious drop off IMO. We need to get back to the basics, start from the beginning. We need to start taking it seriously again. I am going to be far less tolerant of those that I don't feel are. Here are a few of my immediate pet peeves that need to change...

* Waiting until invites go out to decide you need pots, flasks, gems, glyphs etc and heading to IF or SW instead of the raid target.

* As soon the target is announced (and often times before) declaring that you "need" as summon. This really gets me. A lot of time there is not so much as "would someone" or "could someone" but simply an "I need" like it is owed to you. You know when the raid times are..they are scheduled. I suggest that you schedule your activates to where you either have a hearth available or are someplace you won't need one. If you don't know how to, or enough to, plant an AH toon in IF or SW by now then you are not ready for a raiding guild.

* AFK without permission and ESPECIALLY during deaths. There is nothing that ruins my night faster then us wasting a battle rez on someone who is AFK. Excessive AFK's during clears and/or rebuffs for attempts will not be tolerated anymore. Emergencies happen, I get that, but if you need an AFK every other attempt during 3d for example, I suggest you look into adult diapers, that is not an emergency. AFK's during death's will not be tolerated AT ALL. You will be booted from the raid (even if we proceed with 24) and you can explain your reasons to me later after the raid.

* Not paying attention during instructions or assignments. This is getting extremely old. Salot or myself, mainly him, take the time to try to organize and lead this for you and some of you can't even bother to listen when instructions are being given. On a simple fight like Sapp we usually have about 1/4 of the raid on the wrong side even though you are told which side seconds before we go through the door. That is ridiculous. How can you expect to help us kill challenging content if you don't listen or don't know right from left?

* Not watching threat meters. Some fights the dps is going to run the tanks down due to fight mechanics and some they are not. Just because it is a fight that you can pass the tank on does NOT give you the right nor the permission to do so. I am aware that anomalies will happen with an uncanny string or crits or dots ticking through phases where tanks can't build threat but by now as a player you should be skilled enough to either avoid most of that or know how to deal with it. Ganking off the tank is not acceptable and is happening to often due to lack of attention. Yes, I have seen fights where I appear on top the meter and I lose aggro..... odd things, but I have also seen someone close on the meter or even ahead and still dpsing for all they are worth. To put it mildly, that is retarded. Don't give me nonsense about "it's a dps race" because 95% of the time in a dps race if the mob comes off the tank....race over. If you feel that my threat or the other tanks are not sufficient for the content then /w me about it, in-game me, website PM me or whatever so we can discuss it but ganking is NOT an option.

* A lack of environmental awareness. Dying to void zones, flamewalls, rock falls, fissures, flame breaths and (my personal favorite because I can see it coming a mile away) whirlwinds. Sometimes when you die it is unavoidable, sometimes freaky things happen. I know that no one is going to be perfect all the time but we seriously have to learn to cut down on the stupid deaths. Quite often it is the same people that are having issues. We have to bring better focus to these raids. Pay attention to what is going on. If you simply can't then let me know and we will get someone else in there. I know this is only a game, I get that, but you have 24 other people who are wanting to win as well and they are counting on you to be giving your best effort night in, night out, attempt in and attempt out. Anything less is quite honestly disrespectful to everyone else in the raid.

From now on be focused and ready to raid or do not hit the "accept" for the invite. We need to get back to when we were serious and took pride in being a high caliber raid guild.

On a side note, raider tags will again start to be strictly enforced. It is all along the same lines of following the rules and getting serious again. If you do not maintain your 2 nights a week you will lose your tag and your privilege to raid.

The Bank and Request Guidelines for Epic Gems:

Alt
Alts do not have bank access.

Member
All non-raiding mains are tagged as Members. Members may access Tab 1.

Raider
Raiders may access Tab 1 ,Tab 2 and Tab 3. Tab 2 and Tab 3 contains items needed for raiding. Please use items you take from Tab 2 and Tab 3 as intended.

Tab 4 & 5

Tab 4 & 5 can only be accessed by an officer, but the items it contains are for everyone's use and intended to benefit the guild as a whole. If you would like to request an item be removed on your behalf, be aware that these items are ONLY for your main toon - not for alts or for resale! You must make your requests through the bank request forum.

Epic Gem Policy
Epic gems in the bank are available to guild members by simply contacting an officer in game via whisper or email. Please limit your requests for one every week or so, as to give everyone a chance to aquire them as needed.

Understand also that there is a ZERO TOLERANCE for anyone using the gems to make a profit.  These Epics are to be used to enhance the raiding gear and not to be cut and put on the Auction House.  Anyone found doing this without authorization from the Guild Leader will be removed from the guild immediately.
